G42 Americas is a global artificial intelligence and technology group with its origins in Abu Dhabi, rapidly growing its presence in the US, Europe and other global markets. We are building a vertically integrated AI powerhouse with an ambition and a proposition on par with the world's leading hyperscalers, spanning AI data centers, hyperscale AI cloud infrastructure and frontier AI applications.
At the core of that ambition is a simple idea: G42 is building the world's AI token factory and AI agent factory, the industrial-scale infrastructure that produces intelligence, and the platforms that turn that intelligence into agents and applications reshaping how governments, enterprises and society work.
Overview:
We are building the strategic finance and corporate development engine for one of the fastest-growing platforms in AI infrastructure. This role sits at the center of M&A execution, capital allocation, financial planning, and strategic decision-making for the Americas business. You will work directly with senior leadership on live transactions, the long-range plan, investment evaluations, and board-level materials, with exposure to institutional investors, top-tier advisors, and complex cross-border structuring.
This is a high-ownership seat on a lean team. You will run analyses end to end, not just build inputs for someone else's deck.
Responsibilities:
M&A and Transaction Execution
- Build and own financial models: valuation (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions), merger models, accretion/dilution, returns analysis
- Support live deal processes end to end: diligence coordination, data room management, advisor workflows
- Prepare investment memos, board materials, and IC-ready analysis under tight timelines
- Coordinate with external advisors (bankers, accountants, legal counsel) on diligence, structuring, and regulatory workstreams
Strategic Finance and Business Partnering
- Build and maintain financial models spanning operating plans, scenario analysis, and returns on strategic initiatives
- Participate in the long-range planning (LRP) process: support the build-out of multi-year projections, key assumptions, and financial targets for the Americas business
- Partner with business and functional leaders on strategic decisions, translating operating priorities into financial impact and clear recommendations
- Support capital planning and management reporting that connects strategy to financial outcomes
Capital Allocation and Investment Analysis
- Evaluate organic and inorganic investment opportunities: build/buy/partner analysis, market sizing, competitive assessment
- Develop capital allocation frameworks, hurdle rate analysis, and portfolio prioritization for senior leadership
- Pressure-test business cases from operating teams and translate them into decision-ready recommendations
Strategy and Executive Support
- Support annual and long-range strategic planning for the Americas business
- Produce crisp executive communications: board pre-reads, investor materials, leadership updates
- Take on special projects spanning market entry, partnerships, and operational buildout
Qualifications:
Required
- 2 to 4 years in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or strategy consulting with significant transaction exposure
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills; you can build a three-statement or merger model from scratch and defend every assumption
- Strong written communication; you can turn analysis into a one-page recommendation a CEO can act on
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment with minimal oversight
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field
Preferred
- CFA charterholder or progress toward the designation
- Experience with strategic finance, FP&A, or long-range planning alongside transaction work
- Exposure to technology, AI infrastructure, data centers, or digital infrastructure
- Experience with cross-border transactions, carve-outs, or regulatory processes
What Sets You Apart
- You operate with an owner's mindset: you anticipate the next question, not just answer the current one
- You are equally comfortable in the model and in the room presenting it
- You bring judgment, not just output; you flag what matters and say what you would do
Our Culture: Founder Mode
G42 Americas is a company for builders. We are scaling at extraordinary speed, and we run the business the way founders do: hands-on, close to the work, biased to action and personally accountable for outcomes.
- Hands-on leadership. Our leaders go deep. They build, ship and own outcomes; they do not simply oversee.
- Founder mode. High ownership, high velocity, direct communication, and minimal bureaucracy.
- Room to shape. The blank canvas and pace of a startup, built on the foundation of an established global business with capital, customers, infrastructure, and world-class partners already in place.
- Build something great. We are assembling a few exceptional people to build a generational company, and we expect everyone who joins to leave a personal mark on what gets built.
We are building for long-term impact, and our rewards philosophy is designed to attract leaders who can help shape that future.
The compensation structure consists of base salary with bonus and benefits on top. Salary ranges are set according to the role, level, and location.
G42 Americas is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace. As an equal opportunity employer, G42 Americas does not discriminate based on race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age or any other legally protected status. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities throughout the application and employment process.
