Specialist - Physical Security

Overview:

Plan, direct and monitor the implementation of Physical security to ensure full protection of the companies’ people, property and Information by Managing overall  security operational requirement and leasing with Security Service provider management to fulfil all operational and official requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Physical Security Operation Administration: Oversee day-to-day security operation and direct involvement for the investigation of any security related Incident on site.
  • Incident Management: Conduct investigation with respect to physical security incidents and provide evidence as and when required to the management by understanding and controlling records and people in order to carry out a systematic or formal inquiry, to discover and examine the facts of an incident, allegation, etc., so as to discover the fact.
  • Security Policies and Procedures Administration: Updating and creating policies, procedures and process flow charts and required forms and liaise with the security governance and meeting the required global security standard. Ensuring compliance of security deficiencies identified via Audits and Gap Analysis.
  • CCTV and Access Control Management: Manging and Controlling CCTV and access control operations. Implementing effective archive system for retrieval and dissemination of security data/information requested by management for CCTV & other systems logs.
  • Site Inspections and assessment & Emergency response: Conduct periodic inspection and risk assessment to ensure ongoing security measure are effective for the site protection.  Providing factual data and act as point of contact during emergency in terms of  the Physical security
  • Travel Risk Administration: Managing safety and security risk related to for business trips by vetting the security and medical risk associated with the travel to these countries. Processing all required documentations for close protection proposals to the engagement of it and a continuous follow up during the travel.
  • Visitors Management: Initial vetting of all visitors’ requests and filters them according to their location. Extracting requests that needs further Security State Dept. vetting and processing them accordingly.
  • Communications & Working Relationships: communicating to External and Govt entities, Vendors, Service Providers, Contactors, Suppliers and inter Departments
  • Third Party Administration and Supervision: Ensure that the maintenance activities for physical security components take place as planned. Maintaining logs of all escalations of failure to the system and ensuring root cause is found and solved.
  • Point of Contact for Security matter: first point of contact for any security related matter and report the information to the line manager.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree.
5 Years Experience.
