Specialist - Digital Communications (Space42)

Job Purpose: Support the implementation of Space42’s digital communications initiatives by managing day-to-day coordination with external agencies, publishing content across platforms, and tracking digital performance. The role will ensure timely updates to the website, social media, and email channels, supporting strategic priorities set by the wider Communications team.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Coordination
- Coordinate with the digital agency to develop and schedule content for Space42’s social media channels, primarily LinkedIn and Twitter.
- Review, track, and update weekly social media calendars to ensure alignment with key corporate announcements, campaigns, and events.
- Ensure posts are on-brand, bilingual where required, and meet the quality standards set by the Communications team.
- Monitor basic platform analytics (reach, engagement, click-through rates), and flag trends or issues for further analysis.
- Maintain a centralized, monthly digital content calendar across all platforms (social media, website, email).
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g. Investor Relations, HR, Product) to integrate upcoming priorities into the calendar.
- Update the calendar weekly, flagging overlaps or gaps, and propose adjustments based on changes in the business schedule.
Website Maintenance and Content Uploads
- Upload approved content to the Space42 website using the CMS, including press releases, investor reports, campaign pages, and media coverage.
- Ensure all uploads follow brand guidelines.
- Perform routine checks to ensure all live content is accurate, current, and accessible across devices and languages.
- Liaise with the agency to troubleshoot any bugs, design inconsistencies, or functionality issues
Email and Newsletter Support
- - Prepare and dispatch internal and external email communications such as newsletters, event invitations, and stakeholder updates.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate email distribution tools and platforms that meet Space42’s needs for reach, design, automation, and tracking.
- Manage recipient lists and segment audiences to support more targeted and relevant communications.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics including open rates, click-through rates, and unsubscribes, and compile insights to support continuous improvement.
Data Analytics & Performance Optimization
- Track and analyse key digital communications metrics (engagement, reach, conversion rates) to optimize performance.
- Use AI-driven tools and analytics platforms to enhance audience segmentation and content delivery.
- Provide regular reports and insights on Space42’s digital presence, along with strategic recommendations.
Agency and Vendor Coordination
- Space42’s digital agency.
- Schedule and lead weekly status meetings; capture action points and follow through on outstanding items.
- Track deliverables and timelines to ensure content and campaign materials are received, reviewed, and published on schedule.
- Escalate delays, quality issues, or scope changes to the Senior Analyst or Communications lead.
Innovation & Digital Trends
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in digital communications, particularly within the space, AI, and geospatial analytics industries.
- Identify and propose new technologies or digital tools to enhance Space42’s communications capabilities.
- Collaborate with other team members in the marketing department to enhance Space42’s digital experiences in events and other initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in a digital communications support role.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms, social publishing tools, and basic analytics.
- Agency coordination experience preferred.

- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools, digital marketing platforms, and content management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, with a focus on delivering impactful digital experience.
