ROLE PURPOSE
The Solution Architect is responsible for driving the technical vision and leadership across software development initiatives. This role involves designing and implementing scalable solutions, guiding cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to best practices while delivering high-quality products. The Tech Lead will balance strategic planning with hands-on development, serving as the primary technical advisor for projects and ensuring smooth and efficient collaboration between all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

 

Technical Leadership & Strategy:

  • Define and execute the technical roadmap in line with overall business goals.
  • Lead architectural design decisions to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.

Project Management & Execution:

  • Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Manage resource allocation and coordinate with product managers, designers, and quality assurance teams.

Team Development & Collaboration:

  • Mentor and coach team members to foster professional growth and maintain high performance.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within cross-functional teams using agile methodologies.

Quality Assurance & Process Improvement:

  • Implement and enforce coding standards, robust testing, and continuous integration practices.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and lead initiatives to streamline development workflows.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights.
  • Present progress updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years in software development with a significant portion in leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced, agile environments.

Technical Expertise:

  • Proficient in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, C#).
  • Deep understanding of software architecture, microservices, API design, and cloud platforms.

Methodologies & Tools:

  • Strong experience with agile methodologies, continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) practices, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and other modern DevOps practices.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with an ability to handle complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
