ROLE PURPOSE

As Senior Specialist - Communications, you will lead the development and execution of impactful communication strategies that articulate Space-42’s pioneering advancements in AI-powered space technology. Reporting to the Vice President – Communications, you will play a key role in shaping our narrative, enhancing brand reputation, and engaging our customers in the government and enterprise sectors. You will make a significant impact on our international visibility, elevating our sovereign space capabilities and positioning the company as a global leader in satellite communications, business intelligence, and geospatial & mobility solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and edit high-quality content in Arabic and English for press releases, website updates, media briefings, opinion pieces, campaign messaging, and speeches.
  • Coordinate with PR agencies, media partners, and cross-functional teams to align messaging with Space42’s strategic narrative.
  • Contribute to the development of sophisticated public relations programs, including media relations, crisis communications, and executive thought leadership initiatives
  • Support the development of communication materials for events, launches, and campaigns.
  • Maintain a media monitoring system and track coverage to inform communications planning and reporting.
  • Champion and enforce brand integrity, messaging consistency, and visual identity across all internal and external communications.
  • Develop content for internal channels, including leadership messages, employee newsletters, intranet updates, and organizational announcements.
  • Ensure consistent tone of voice and clarity in company-wide communications that build employee engagement and culture.
  • Partner with Human Capital and other departments to support change communications, values activation, and employee experience campaigns.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of internal communications tools and recommend improvements.
  • Serve as the in-house lead for Arabic-language content creation and editing across all communications.
  • Translate and adapt complex technical or strategic material into accessible language in both Arabic and English.
  • Review material from agencies or other departments to ensure linguistic accuracy and brand alignment. 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Arabic, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • An MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Native Arabic speaker with exceptional written and verbal proficiency in both Arabic and English.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or strategic marketing.
  • Proficiency with a broad range of communication tools and platforms, including advanced CMS/CRM software, media monitoring services, and digital marketing analytics platforms.
  • Strong copywriting and editorial skills across formats and audiences.
  • Solid understanding of media relations, digital communications, and content strategy.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret complex data, generate actionable insights, and measure communication effectiveness in line with set KPIs.
  • History of developing and implementing successful communication strategies that drive brand awareness, stakeholder engagement, and business growth.
  • Familiarity with corporate brand guidelines and communications planning processes.
  • Experience in managing external vendors and content production workflows.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex technical information into compelling messages for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools, project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira), and media relations databases.
