ROLE SUMMARY
Responsible for leading, executing, and supervising aerial triangulation (AT) workflows for airborne, UAV, and satellite imagery projects. Ensures the geometric integrity and accuracy of photogrammetric blocks in accordance with project specifications, quality procedures, and industry best practices. Supports project planning, data preparation, QA/QC, geodetic adjustments, and documentation of results.

Responsibilities:

•    Prepare and evaluate Ground Control Points (GCPs), Check Points (CPs), and tie point distributions. 
•    Execute camera calibration checks and integrate calibration certificates into AT workflows. 
•    Integrate GNSS/IMU trajectory data and perform boresight calibration when required. 
•    Perform complete aerial triangulation processing, including interior, relative, and absolute orientation of imagery blocks. 
•    Conduct bundle block adjustments using state of the art AT and photogrammetric software. 
•    Perform quality analysis, including RMSE assessment, residual inspection, and block stability analysis. 
•    Optimize block geometry and accuracy through iterative refinement and parameter adjustment. 
•    Collaborate with photogrammetry, LiDAR, and mapping teams to ensure seamless downstream data processing. 
•    Prepare detailed AT reports, documenting methodologies, results, accuracy statistics, and quality compliance. 
•    Follow and contribute to Geo imaging data quality management processes and internal standards.
•    Provide expert guidance on AT related project planning (flying configurations, overlap, GCP needs). 
•    Evaluate and validate new photogrammetric sensors and software tools. 
•    Support automation, workflow improvement, and knowledge transfer within the team. 
•    Train junior photogrammetrists and analysts in AT procedures and best practices.

Qualifications:

•    Minimum bachelor’s degree in Photogrammetry, Geomatics, Geoinformatics, GIS or related discipline. 
•    Courses or certifications in Aerial Triangulation, Geodesy, Remote Sensing, or advanced photogrammetry are an advantage.
•    Minimum 5 years of professional experience in photogrammetry, with at least 3+ years specialized in Aerial Triangulation. 
•    Experience with large scale aerial mapping, satellite block adjustments, airborne lidar is highly desirable.
•    Excellent knowledge of photogrammetric principles, aerial triangulation theory, and geodetic fundamentals (incl. datums, projections). 
•    Proficiency with professional AT/photogrammetry software.
•    Strong understanding of camera geometry, sensor models, GNSS/IMU integration, and coordinate transformations. 
•    Ability to analyze AT adjustment results, residuals, and block stability metrics. 
•    Very good computer skills (Windows, Office).
