ROLE PURPOSE

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, proposing solutions to mitigate them.
• Collect, analyze, and report on project data, providing insights to support decision-making.
• Coordinate project activities and facilitate communication among team members and stakeholders.
• Prepare project status reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies.
• Assist in the development and management of project documentation, including requirements, specifications, and user manuals.
• Participate in project meetings and provide administrative support as needed.
• Attend project team meetings and document available project outlines and requirements.
• Monitor and follow up on deadlines and changes in project timelines/dependencies.
• Contribute to requirements gathering, risk & issues scheduling, and change control.
• Support the Head of PMO in defining, implementing/enforcing project governance and project management processes, including conducting health checks and recommending continuous improvement plans/actions to improve processes.
• Assist the Head of PMO in monitoring and reporting any non-compliance on project planning and implementation.
• Perform other tasks that the Head of PMO may assign from time to time.
   

Qualifications:

To qualify, you must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in project management or project coordination
• 1 year of experience in AI, data science, or cloud computing projects
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies

Ideally, you’ll also need:

• A meticulous approach with a keen eye for detail.
• Passion for emerging technologies, particularly in generative AI and cloud computing
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to think strategically and anticipate project needs
• Excellent time management skills
