ROLE SUMMARY
Lead the delivery of enterprise-scale GIS and geospatial intelligence solutions across strategic programs, ensuring alignment with Space42’s mission to provide AI-powered geospatial and sovereign data capabilities. The role focuses on managing complex GIS deployments, integrating advanced analytics, and delivering scalable platforms that support national and enterprise-level decision-making.
Responsibilities:
1. Program & Delivery Leadership
• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise GIS programs, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Manage multiple workstreams across large-scale geospatial initiatives (e.g., DAS, smart cities, infrastructure programs)
• Ensure alignment with contractual deliverables, milestones, and KPIs
2. Enterprise GIS Architecture & Implementation
• Oversee deployment and optimization of ArcGIS Enterprise and cloud-based geospatial platforms
• Lead integration of GIS with enterprise systems (ERP, IoT, AI/analytics platforms)
• Ensure scalability, performance, cybersecurity, and data governance compliance
3. Stakeholder & Client Engagement
• Act as the primary interface with clients, ministries, and strategic partners
• Lead workshops to translate business needs into GIS-enabled solutions
• Ensure high client satisfaction and long-term relationship development
4. Team & Resource Management
• Lead multidisciplinary teams (GIS engineers, developers, analysts, data scientists)
• Manage resource planning, utilization, and performance tracking
• Mentor and develop team capabilities aligned with Space42 delivery standards
5. Governance, Risk & Compliance
• Establish project governance frameworks aligned with Space42 and client requirements
• Manage risks, dependencies, and change control processes
• Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and geospatial standards
6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
• Define and track KPIs, SLAs, and delivery metrics
• Provide executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and performance
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
7. Business & Proposal Support
• Support Business Development in shaping GIS solutions for RFPs and proposals
• Define work packages, effort estimates, and delivery strategies
• Contribute to positioning Space42 as a leader in geospatial intelligence
Qualifications:
• Minimum BSc in Geospatial Sciences or any related filed
• Preferred MSc. in Geospatial Sciences or any related filed
• Minimum 8 years of experience in similar role
