ROLE PURPOSE
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Testing - Analyst with solid experience in software quality assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of test planning, execution, and automation frameworks. Exposure to Geospatial domain testing and AI-based automation tools will be considered a strong advantage.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for web and API-based applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, and system testing.
  • Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks using automation tools.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure product quality and seamless user experience.
  • Leverage AI-based tools (e.g., Testim, Applitools, Mabl, Test Sigma) or custom automation scripts to increase test coverage and efficiency.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily standups.
  • Document defects clearly and follow through with resolution and retesting.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing with hands-on automation expertise.
  • Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Working knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with REST API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum

 

Ideally, you’ll also need 

  • Exposure to Geospatial platforms (e.g., GIS tools, map-based interfaces, coordinate systems).
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with geospatial libraries/tools tools like QGIS, PostGIS, or GDAL
  • Hands-on with AI/ML-based automation testing tools
