Position Overview

Presight is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Specialist – Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain operations and drive strategic efficiency across procurement, sourcing, and vendor management. The role focuses on enhancing operational performance, optimizing supplier relationships, and enabling digital transformation to achieve cost-effective and timely delivery of goods and services.
The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of data center construction projects and deep understanding of IT infrastructure and civil aspects, ensuring seamless coordination and procurement within complex, technology-driven environments.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full supply chain lifecycle, including complete P2P procurement and vendor management.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience in international sourcing and global vendor management to support multi-country operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and optimization of the global supply base.
• Develop and maintain a robust supplier base through market research, supplier assessment, and benchmarking to secure competitive sourcing options.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value and foster long-term partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure business alignment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, UAE regulations, and global best practices in sourcing.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives across supply chain and procurement, including process automation, data-driven decision-making, and advanced P2P system integration.
• Drive implementation and optimization of ERP and eProcurement platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP Ariba, or equivalent) for seamless end-to-end efficiency.
• Leverage digital tools and AI-driven analytics to enhance supplier performance, demand forecasting, and cost optimization.
• Support supply chain operations related to data center construction, including sourcing of IT, MEP, and civil materials and services.
• Apply IT procurement expertise in areas such as CCTV systems, surveillance, networking equipment, and related technologies to make informed sourcing decisions.
• Generate detailed supply chain performance reports and present insights to senior management.
• Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans, and related risk assessments.

Qualifications:

Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CSCP, PMP) is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, and international sourcing, ideally within a technology-driven organization.
• Proven experience managing supply chain operations for data center or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage global supply chains based in the UAE, ensuring compliance with both UAE and international regulatory environments.
• Prior experience within a group of companies with multiple business verticals is an advantage.
• Strong expertise in international sourcing strategies and global vendor management.

Technical Skills:

• In-depth understanding of procurement systems and end-to-end P2P processes.
• Hands-on experience with ERP and eProcurement platforms such as Oracle, SAP Ariba, or similar systems.
• Proficiency in demand planning and inventory optimization.
• Familiarity with digital transformation, process automation, and AI applications in supply chain operations.
• Understanding of data center construction requirements, including IT hardware, MEP systems, and civil interfaces.
• Strong IT procurement background for sourcing and evaluating technologies such as CCTV systems, surveillance equipment, and networking infrastructure.
