Position Overview

The Senior QA Engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of software releases. This includes creating, implementing, and conducting extensive test plans and cases, as well as identifying and documenting bugs, and collaborating with the development teams to address issues.

Additionally, this position is expected to provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members, contributing to the improvement of QA standard and strategies, and participating in product design to priortise quality from the outset.

You will have direct responsibilities related to workflow testing, such as testing BPMN workflows, validating decision tables, and verifying rule logic.

• Add required skills for BPMN 2.0, DMN, and hands‑on experience with workflow engines (e.g., Camunda, Flowable, etc).
• Specify end‑to‑end workflow validation, including gateways, timers, event flows, and exception scenarios.
• Add experience with automation and API testing related to workflow-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Test Planning: Lead the development of comprehensive test plans for software projects, considering both functional and non-functional requirements.
  2. Test Automation: Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
  3. Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing to identify software defects and ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free products.
  4. Performance Testing: Plan and execute performance and load testing to assess system reliability, scalability, and responsiveness.
  5. Quality Assurance: Drive and enforce quality assurance processes, standards, and methodologies across the development lifecycle.
  6. Defect Management: Collaborate with development teams to identify, track, and manage software defects through resolution.
  7. Test Reporting: Generate detailed test reports and provide feedback to the development team on the quality of software products.

  Test Documentation: Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and testing-related artifacts.

  Expand automation skills to include testing workflows, microservices, and decision logic.

  Update manual testing responsibilities to cover workflow steps and boundary conditions.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in QA engineering.
  • Proficiency in Python and testing automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, PyTest).
  • Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
