You will shape engagement plans, prepare leaders for high-stakes interactions, and work closely with legal, communications, commercial, product, and delivery teams as we deploy AI products across regulated and public-sector environments. The role requires sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to move from long-range policy analysis to precise execution.
Responsibilities:
What You’ll Own
• Develop and execute government affairs plans aligned with Inception42’s product, commercial, and deployment priorities in the UAE and selected markets.
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with ministries, regulators, embassies, industry bodies, and public-sector partners.
• Monitor policy, regulatory, and institutional developments relevant to AI, data, cloud infrastructure, and public-sector technology; translate them into clear implications and recommended actions.
• Prepare executive briefings, position papers, correspondence, stakeholder maps, and meeting materials that are accurate, concise, and decision-ready.
• Drive the preparation and follow-through for senior government engagements, consultations, working groups, and industry forums, with clear owners, commitments, and timelines.
• Represent Inception42 in external policy discussions and articulate evidence-based positions grounded in the company’s products, deployment experience, and technical capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with legal, privacy, security, product, commercial, and delivery teams so that external commitments are compliant, technically credible, and executable.
• Identify opportunities for public-private collaboration and connect government priorities with practical AI capabilities, delivery models, and measurable outcomes.
• Manage sensitive issues and escalations with discretion, maintain accurate engagement records, and ensure all activity meets applicable ethics, compliance, and confidentiality standards.
• Establish a clear reporting cadence for policy developments, stakeholder priorities, relationship health, risks, and engagement outcomes.
Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
• Strong judgment and a track record in government affairs, public policy, regulatory engagement, or strategic stakeholder relations, ideally in the UAE or wider Middle East.
• Ability to understand technical and product topics, ask precise questions, and translate complex material into credible policy and stakeholder narratives.
• Excellent research, analytical writing, briefing, and presentation skills, with close attention to accuracy and context.
• Confidence managing senior, high-stakes relationships with diplomacy, discretion, and a clear sense of institutional dynamics.
• Strong execution discipline across multiple priorities, including the ability to create structure, track commitments, and close actions in ambiguous environments.
• Professional fluency in English and Arabic, with the ability to communicate clearly in writing and in person.
• High integrity and a practical understanding of governance, confidentiality, conflicts of interest, and responsible external engagement.
• A collaborative working style and the ability to align legal, technical, commercial, communications, and delivery perspectives.
Nice to Have
• Exposure to AI policy, data governance, digital government, cloud infrastructure, or other emerging technology domains.
• Experience with public-sector partnerships, procurement environments, or national-scale technology initiatives.
• Experience supporting policy consultations, industry coalitions, or issues and reputation management.
