Overview:

As a QA Lead at Inception, you will be responsible for defining and overseeing the quality assurance strategy for complex financial-domain applications. You will lead both manual and automated testing practices, ensuring that all AI-enabled and enterprise platforms adhere to stringent quality, reliability, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead QA teams responsible for manual and automated testing across financial applications and AI-driven platforms.
  • Define test strategies, governance frameworks, and quality standards aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee test planning, test-case design, automation development, and regression execution.
  • Implement automation frameworks supporting UI, API, and data validation.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and architecture teams to ensure testability at all stages of the SDLC.
  • Integrate continuous testing practices within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Track quality metrics, defect patterns, and coverage statistics to ensure delivery readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, security requirements, and audit standards.
  • Mentor QA engineers and advance best practices in test automation and domain-specific validation.

Qualifications:

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of QA experience with proven leadership in financial or enterprise environments.
  • Strong background in manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Experience developing automation frameworks and validating regulated financial workflows.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery processes and CI/CD tooling.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Technical Exposure

  • Automation Frameworks: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, RestAssured
  • Languages: Python, C#, TypeScript
  • CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
  • Cloud (Azure): App Services, Functions, AKS
  • Data: SQL, Data Factory
  • Domain: Financial systems, compliance, reporting
