Overview:
We are looking for a VP of International Delivery to lead the execution of complex AI product and platform deployments across global customer environments. This role exists to make sure Inception can take technically ambitious products into international markets with disciplined delivery, strong customer alignment, and reliable production outcomes.
You will work closely with product, engineering, infrastructure, commercial and regional stakeholders to turn customer commitments into executable delivery plans. The role involves leading international delivery portfolios, managing complex dependencies across geographies, and building repeatable delivery practices for enterprise-scale AI deployments.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has built technology before and understands what it takes to deliver it in real customer environments. Frequent international travel is required to work directly with customers, partners, and delivery teams.
Responsibilities:
- Own international delivery across a portfolio of AI products, platforms, and strategic customer programs, from planning through deployment, stabilization, adoption, and operational handover.
- Build and scale delivery governance across markets, including milestones, scope, technical dependencies, risks, resourcing, change control, and executive-level reporting.
- Partner with product and engineering leaders to translate product roadmaps, architecture decisions, and customer requirements into practical delivery plans.
- Lead delivery execution in complex environments involving AI systems, cloud and infrastructure platforms, data pipelines, security requirements, integrations, vendors, and customer operating models.
- Work directly with international customers and partners to align delivery outcomes, manage expectations, resolve blockers, and maintain trust through high-stakes implementation cycles.
- Establish operating rhythms for portfolio reviews, delivery health, decision-making, escalation paths, and cross-functional alignment across regions.
- Improve reliability and predictability across deployments by strengthening service readiness, incident management, change management, SLA governance, and post-launch support models.
- Bring technical judgment into delivery decisions, including architecture trade-offs, implementation risk, deployment sequencing, integration complexity, and operational readiness.
- Lead delivery teams and external partners with a high bar for execution quality, technical credibility, customer outcomes, and ownership.
- Identify systemic delivery risks early and build practical mechanisms to resolve blockers before they affect production commitments.
- Create repeatable international delivery practices that allow Inception to move faster across markets without losing control over quality, security, reliability, or stakeholder confidence.
Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience leading international delivery, program management, implementation, or professional services for complex technology products in production environments.
- Previous hands-on technical experience in software engineering, systems engineering, solution architecture, infrastructure, data, AI, or another technical delivery discipline.
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of high-stakes customer programs across product, engineering, infrastructure, commercial, customer, and partner teams.
- Strong understanding of software, AI, data, cloud, or infrastructure delivery, with enough technical depth to engage credibly on architecture, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs.
- Experience delivering enterprise-grade systems across multiple geographies, customer environments, regulatory contexts, or partner ecosystems.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently for international customer engagements, delivery governance, escalation management, and on-the-ground execution.
- Experience building delivery governance, operating models, escalation mechanisms, and executive reporting that improve execution quality.
- Strong systems thinking, with the ability to connect product intent, technical constraints, operational readiness, customer outcomes, and market-specific delivery realities.
- Clear judgment under ambiguity, especially when scope, timelines, technical risk, travel constraints, or stakeholder expectations need to be reconciled.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to align senior stakeholders, technical teams, customers, and vendors around decisions and delivery commitments.
- High ownership mindset, strong execution discipline, and the ability to build teams and delivery practices that scale across international deployments.
Nice to Have
- Experience delivering AI, data platform, ML infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS products across international markets.
- Exposure to production support models, ITSM processes, incident management, change management, observability, and SLA governance.
- Experience operating in regulated, national-scale, or enterprise environments where reliability, security, and stakeholder confidence matter.
- Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes/OpenShift, APIs, integration architecture, or large-scale deployment environments.
- Experience building or scaling delivery organizations across multiple regions.
