Overview:

As a Technical Delivery Manager at Inception, you will play a critical role in overseeing the successful delivery of AI projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. In this role, you will play a hands-on leadership role across architecture, planning, and agile execution to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery of AI solutions aligned with business objectives. You will combine engineering acumen and delivery leadership — bridging technical depth with project management excellence to drive the execution of applied AI programs across industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a squad of engineers and AI specialists delivering AI-powered applications and platforms.

  • Partner with architecture and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable, production-ready AI solutions.

  • Oversee technical design, architecture reviews, and implementation using Azure Cloud services.

  • Drive delivery excellence across the full lifecycle — planning, execution, release management, and post-delivery optimization.

  • Manage project scope, timelines, and budgets while ensuring technical quality and compliance.

  • Mentor engineering teams, promote best practices in AI/ML development, cloud architecture, and DevOps.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment between business goals and technical execution.

  • Champion agile delivery methodologies, continuous integration, and automation frameworks.

  • Ensure effective risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or related technical field (Master’s preferred).

  • 7+ years of experience in technical delivery, cloud engineering, or software development.

  • Proven track record leading end-to-end delivery of AI, cloud, or software platforms.

  • Strong understanding of Azure Cloud ecosystem, AI/ML pipelines, and DevOps practices.

  • Hands-on technical foundation — able to engage with engineers on architecture, code reviews, and system design.

  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

  • Certifications in Azure, AI/ML, or DevOps are an advantage.

Technical Exposure

  • Candidates should have strong familiarity with modern cloud, AI/ML, and DevOps ecosystems, ideally having grown through an engineering background before moving into management.
  • Languages - Python, C#, TypeScript
  • AI/ML - Azure ML, Azure OpenAI, MLflow, LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, Agentic Orchestration
  • Cloud (Azure) - Azure Functions, AKS (Kubernetes), App Services, Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake
  • DevOps - Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Docker, Terraform
  • Data - SQL, Cosmos DB, Data Factory
  • Frontend (if applicable) - React, Next.js
