- Define the learning content strategy aligned to program outcomes, audiences, and delivery milestones.
- Establish content architecture and taxonomy (learning pathways, modules, asset types, tagging/metadata) to enable reuse and discoverability.
- Create and maintain content standards including templates, style guide, tone of voice, accessibility and localization guidelines, and acceptance criteria.
- Own the editorial calendar and release cadence, coordinating dependencies across SMEs, providers, platform owners, and delivery teams.
2) Content Development & Curation (Inception + Providers)
- Develop and/or oversee development of high-impact learning assets (e.g., facilitator guides, learner workbooks, slide decks, labs, videos, assessments, job aids).
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, learner-centered content across different proficiency levels and roles.
- Curate and adapt existing assets (internal, open-source, partner content) to fit program standards and learning journeys.
- Coordinate with SMEs to validate technical accuracy and with delivery teams to validate instructional usability.
3) Provider Content Intake, QA & Editorial Review
- Act as the primary point of contact for content delivered by external providers: intake, review, iteration, and approval.
- Proofread and quality-check provider assets for clarity, consistency, instructional quality, branding, accessibility, and compliance with templates and guidelines.
- Implement QA checkpoints and review workflows (SME review, editorial review, stakeholder sign-off) with clear SLAs.
- Track and resolve content issues (gaps, duplication, version conflicts) and manage change requests through to closure.
4) Asset Management, Publishing & Release Readiness
- Maintain a single source of truth for all training assets including ownership, version history, approval status, and usage rights/licensing.
- Ensure content is published in the right places at the right time (LMS/LXP, portals, repositories) with correct metadata, permissions, and naming conventions.
- Partner with platform admins to package content for delivery (uploads, SCORM/xAPI, links, navigation) and validate end-user experience.
- Establish content lifecycle management (refresh cycles, retirement, archiving) to keep materials current and reduce noise.
5) Training Delivery Enablement & Continuous Improvement
- Support delivery readiness by equipping trainers/facilitators with complete, standardized asset kits and delivery notes.
- Set up feedback loops with learners, facilitators, and program owners; translate insights into prioritized content improvements.
- Monitor content and training effectiveness using agreed metrics (completion, satisfaction, proficiency, reuse) and report on progress and risks.
- Contribute to train-the-trainer and onboarding approaches so partners can deliver consistently and at scale.

- Hands-on experience with LMS/LXP publishing and common authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360/Rise/Storyline, Captivate) is preferred.
