Position Overview 

The Senior IT Manager will lead the strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations, robust cybersecurity, and alignment with business goals. This role requires expertise in managing hybrid workspaces, vendor relationships, network/application maintenance, and cybersecurity frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with endpoint security tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Forcepoint), cloud platforms (Azure, Windows 365), and infrastructure components (AD/Entra ID, VDIs, firewalls). 

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities 

  • Design and implement enterprise-level solutions for endpoint and workplace management, encompassing user devices, and core enterprise services such as Active Directory, domain management, DNS, DHCP, networking, security, network devices, and WiFi infrastructure. 
  • Oversee Azure cloud environments, including management of Entra ID (Azure AD), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and Windows 365 (W365) deployments. 
  • Demonstrate proven experience in guiding organizations through ISO, SOC2, GDPR, and HIPAA compliance and certification processes. 
  • Manage Security Operations Centers (SOC) and Network Operations Centers (NOC), ensuring a robust cybersecurity posture for AI-driven organizations 
  • Ensure high availability and performance of VDI environments and cloud-based workspaces. 
  • Implement and enforce InfoSec policies, including endpoint security controls (CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender), firewalls, and content filtering for endpoints 
  • Lead patch and vulnerability management programs to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). 
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and MSPs to meet SLAs for hardware, software, and cloud services. 
  • Monitor service delivery performance and resolve escalations promptly. 
  • Oversee the deployment, licensing, and lifecycle management of enterprise applications and software. 
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of on-premises and cloud systems. 
  • Partner with facility teams to maintain IT infrastructure in office locations (e.g., network cabling, power management). 
  • Provide support for complex IT issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high customer satisfaction. 
  • Develop IT budgets, resource plans, and training programs. 

Qualifications:

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred). 
  • 15+ years of IT management experience, with 3+ years in a senior leadership role. 
  • Must possess strong people management abilities. 
  • Proven expertise in managing Azure cloud environments, Entra ID, and hybrid infrastructures. 
  • Experience with CrowdStrike, Forcepoint, Microsoft Defender, firewalls), content filtering, AD/Entra ID, VDIs, W365, patch management (e.g., SCCM, Intune), vulnerability scanners, Wi-Fi management, VPNs, SD-WAN, network monitoring tools 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. 
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience.
