Program Manager

Overview:

Inception AI is spearheading a transformative initiative to deploy a large-scale AI program across Abu Dhabi’s critical sectors, including Government, Education, and State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs).

 

As Manager – Abu Dhabi Government Program, you will oversee the implementation and coordination of AI deployment initiatives across Abu Dhabi’s government ecosystem. Reporting to the Director – Government Portfolio, you will ensure that all programs under your remit are delivered effectively, aligned with strategic objectives, and compliant with PMO governance standards.

 

This role requires a balance of program delivery excellence, stakeholder engagement, and operational governance — ensuring that the initiative delivers measurable outcomes across multiple government entities.

Responsibilities:

Program Delivery & Execution

  • Lead the day-to-day management of assigned programs within the Abu Dhabi Government portfolio.
  • Develop detailed implementation plans, milestones, and delivery schedules aligned with the PMO’s overall roadmap.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional delivery teams to ensure timely execution and quality assurance.
  • Oversee resource allocation, dependencies, and inter-program coordination to maintain delivery efficiency.
  • Ensure that all projects adhere to established governance, reporting, and quality frameworks.

 

2. Stakeholder Management & Coordination

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Abu Dhabi Government entities participating in the initiative.
  • Foster strong partnerships with senior government officials, program sponsors, and operational teams.
  • Facilitate alignment meetings, progress reviews, and workshops to drive collaboration and accountability.
  • Ensure consistent communication across internal and external stakeholders to maintain transparency and trust.

 

3. Governance, Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Support the PMO in implementing standardized methodologies, templates, and tools for program management.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including charters, project plans, reports, and performance dashboards.
  • Monitor KPIs, track progress against objectives, and produce regular reports for leadership and steering committees.
  • Contribute to portfolio-level insights, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

 

4. Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

  • Proactively identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies across projects within the Abu Dhabi portfolio.
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Maintain a centralized risk register and ensure regular updates to leadership.
  • Drive resolution of escalated issues to minimize impact on delivery timelines and outcomes.

 

5. Change Management & Capability Enablement

  • Support the rollout of change management initiatives to ensure successful AI adoption across government entities.
  • Coordinate communication, training, and awareness activities in partnership with relevant workstreams.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing and best practices to enhance institutional AI readiness and sustainability.

Qualifications:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Public Policy, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
  • 7–10 years of experience in program or project management, ideally within government transformation, AI deployment, or large-scale digital initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-entity programs with diverse stakeholders and complex governance structures.
  • Strong understanding of government operations, strategy alignment, and performance delivery frameworks.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
