Product Designer
Overview:
The Product Designer at Inception is responsible for designing intuitive, effective user experiences for complex enterprise platforms and workflows. This role focuses on usability, clarity, and consistency for internal users operating within structured operational environments.
The Product Designer plays a key role in ensuring that enterprise platforms are usable, efficient, and aligned to real operational workflows.

Responsibilities:
Design user interfaces for enterprise platforms, dashboards, and workflow-driven applications
· Translate functional and technical requirements into clear interaction and visual designs
· Design for complex, non-consumer user journeys with a focus on productivity and clarity
· Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs as needed
· Iterate designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and usage patterns
· Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers throughout delivery cycles
· Ensure consistency across UI components, patterns, and design systems
Qualifications:
Skills and attributes for success
· Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
· Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in product design or UX roles, preferably in enterprise environments
· Strong understanding of UX principles for complex workflows
· Ability to balance usability, accessibility, and visual clarity
· Strong communication and collaboration skills
To qualify for the role you must have
· Experience designing enterprise dashboards, admin panels, or internal tools
· Strong portfolio demonstrating UX and interaction design work
· Experience working closely with engineering teams to implement designs
· Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and UX documentation practices
· Comfort iterating designs in fast-moving, delivery-focused environments
