Overview:
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Director – Data Center Lease & Site Acquisition to lead the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of data center capacity supporting the expansion of the company’s AI infrastructure platform.
This role will be responsible for securing strategic infrastructure capacity through partnerships with global data center operators and infrastructure providers. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial negotiation capabilities with deep understanding of hyperscale infrastructure, enabling the deployment of large-scale AI compute environments.
The role operates at the intersection of infrastructure strategy, commercial development, and technical feasibility, working closely with engineering, finance, legal, and go-to-market teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to secure data center capacity supporting large-scale AI infrastructure deployments.
- Identify and evaluate infrastructure partners based on power availability, cooling architecture, connectivity, scalability, and commercial viability.
- Lead negotiations for infrastructure agreements including leasing, capacity reservations, and long-term infrastructure partnerships.
- Conduct commercial, technical, and legal due diligence across potential infrastructure opportunities.
- Lead end-to-end transaction processes from market analysis and partner evaluation through negotiation and execution.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, finance, legal, procurement, and commercial teams to deliver infrastructure aligned with compute growth.
- Support commercial teams in structuring infrastructure-backed enterprise engagements while maintaining strong relationships across the digital infrastructure ecosystem.

Qualifications:
- 10–15+ years of experience in digital infrastructure, hyperscale expansion, data center site acquisition, or infrastructure investment.
- Demonstrated experience executing large-scale infrastructure transactions including site acquisition, leasing, or capacity agreements.
- Strong understanding of hyperscale infrastructure requirements including power, cooling, connectivity, and scalability considerations.
- Experience operating at the intersection of technical infrastructure and commercial strategy.
- Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- Background in hyperscale cloud, AI infrastructure platforms, digital infrastructure investment, or global data center operators.
- Exposure to large-scale compute environments including GPU infrastructure or AI platforms.
- Experience structuring complex commercial agreements involving infrastructure capacity or strategic partnerships.
- International experience working across multiple markets and regulatory environments.
