Overview:

You will architect large-scale GPU infrastructure solutions for strategic customers - capacity, networking, storage, and platform integration. You’ll translate workload needs into credible architectures, economics, and deployment plans. 

Responsibilities:

  • Design AI infrastructure solutions: cluster sizing, network topology, storage, security, and operational model. 
  • Run workload discovery and translate into capacity/performance requirements and phased deployment plans. 
  • Partner with benchmarking and infra teams to validate performance claims and cost-per-token economics. 
  • Lead technical proposals and act as technical owner in strategic infrastructure pursuits. 
  • Coordinate proof-of-value tests and readiness assessments for new deployments.
  • Ability to travel frequently for customer workshops, data center / partner site visits, and exec meetings (typ. 25–40%, variable by deal stage).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; equivalent experience considered.   
  • 10–15 years in HPC/GPU infrastructure architecture or cloud infrastructure pre-sales. 
  • Strong knowledge of networking, storage, and GPU cluster design; ability to present to executives. 

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • Experience with neo-cloud providers, hyperscalers, or AI infrastructure platforms. 
  • Travel for customer workshops, lab/benchmark sessions, and deployment readiness (typ. 20–35%). 
  • HPC/AI infra design trade-offs; performance troubleshooting; isolation + security in multi-tenant GPU platforms. 
  • Strong understanding of how infra choices impact real-world training/inference workloads. 
  • Benchmark harnesses, profiling tools, capacity/economics models, architecture documentation systems, and operational telemetry platforms.
