Seeking a diligent, highly organized, result-oriented  Senior Specialist- Financial Reporting to join our growing Finance team at G42.

Responsibilities:

The objectives of the role of Senior Specialist - Financial Reporting  will be:

  • Financial Reporting
  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in consolidating financial data from multiple entities or subsidiaries.
  • Contribute to the analysis of financial statements, identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
  • Support the timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Compliance and Regulations

  • Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements (e.g., SCA reporting for publicly traded companies).
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of required financial reports, such as annual reports, quarterly reports, and tax filings.
  • Collaborate with auditors during external audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.

Financial Analysis:

  • Assist in conducting financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Contribute to the identification of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess financial performance.
  • Provide support in generating insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support business objectives.
  • System and Process Improvements:
  • Provide assistance in evaluating and implementing financial reporting systems or software to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • BSc/BA in Accounting,
  • Advanced excel skills and Proficient in MS office
