Senior Associate - Speaking Engagement Preparation

The G42 AI Function sits at the center of the group’s AI agenda, shaping enterprise-wide AI strategy, priority use cases, partnerships, and investments. It plays a key role in defining where and how G42 builds, partners, or acquires AI capabilities, while ensuring alignment with national priorities, responsible AI principles, and global best practices.

Within this function, the Speaking Engagements Preparation role supports the Chief AI Officer’s global representation of G42. The role focuses on preparing high-quality content, briefings, and narratives for speeches, panels, and public engagements, working closely with the AI Philanthropy & Executive Relations role and internal AI sub-functions to ensure clarity, consistency, and credibility in external communications.

Responsibilities:

The Speaking Engagements Preparation role supports the Chief AI Officer’s participation in global conferences, panels, and public forums by developing high-quality briefing materials, talking points, and contextual insights.

The role works closely with the AI Philanthropy & Executive Relations role and internal AI sub-functions to translate complex AI topics into clear, coherent narratives tailored to different audiences and settings.

This position is well suited to a detail-oriented, strong communicator who combines structured thinking with an interest in AI, global affairs, and executive-level communications.

Key Responsibilities

Content Preparation

• Prepare briefing notes, talking points, and background materials for speeches and panels.
• Adapt content to audience, format, and regional context.

Narrative Development

• Translate complex AI topics into clear, compelling executive narratives.
• Ensure consistency with G42 messaging and priorities.

Engagement Research

• Research events, audiences, speakers, and themes ahead of engagements.
• Provide concise context and recommendations to inform positioning.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Work closely with AI Philanthropy & Executive Relations and internal AI sub-functions.
• Incorporate inputs from strategy, research, and technical teams.

Travel Coordination

• Support planning and coordination of travel logistics for global speaking engagements.
• Liaise with relevant internal teams to ensure smooth execution of schedules.

Material Review

• Review and refine presentations, scripts, and supporting documents.
• Ensure clarity, accuracy, and executive-level quality.

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, international relations, business, humanities, or a related field.
• Additional coursework or exposure to technology, policy, or global affairs is an advantage.

Executive Communications

• Experience preparing senior leaders for speeches, panels, or public engagements.
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to tone, clarity, and audience.

Research Skills

• Ability to quickly synthesize complex topics into concise briefing materials.
• Experience conducting background research on events, stakeholders, and themes.

Coordination Skills

• Comfortable coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

AI & Technology Interest

• Demonstrated interest in AI, emerging technologies, or innovation topics.
• Ability to learn and communicate technical concepts at a high level.

Global Exposure

• Experience supporting international engagements or working across regions.
