Overview:

Requirement for an implementation engineer responsible for deploying, configuring, and supporting Microsoft on‑premises and cloud environments based on approved designs and standards.

  • Microsoft Azure services & Landing Zone
  • Microsoft 365 services

On‑Premises Windows Server 2019+ environments

Responsibilities:

Cyber Solutions & Delivery

  • Execute implementation tasks, with attention to detail and while under pressure
  • Executes implementation tasks for Microsoft on‑premises and cloud platforms in line with approved designs and project plans
  • Performs installation, configuration, and validation of systems under guidance of Senior Engineers
  • Participates in medium to large‑scale project deployments as an implementation resource
  • Applies structured troubleshooting methodologies to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Produces and updates technical implementation and handover documentation
  • Supports handover to operations teams and post‑implementation stabilization
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills; capable of writing technical documentation, working closely with Senior Implementation Engineers and peers.
  • Maintains and evangelizes strong values of integrity, commitment, and self-improvement to self and others

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Technical Requirements

Candidates must be able to demonstrate hands-on experience in installation, configuration, and support of one or more of the following technologies:

  • Microsoft Azure services & Landing Zone
  • Microsoft 365 services
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Windows Server 2019+
  • Active Directory Tiered
  • Microsoft PKI Two-Tier Certificate Authority
  • SQL Server Failover Clustering
  • Exchange 2019+
  • Microsoft SCCM / SCOM / SCVMM

 

Qualifications:

Skills/Certifications (Technical & Non-Technical)

Must be able to demonstrate hands‑on experience with:

  • Implementing and supporting integrations with enterprise platforms such as monitoring, identity and access management, privileged access management, log management, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms, based on approved designs
  • Applying Windows OS security hardening in accordance with established baselines and security standards
  • Implementing Microsoft Windows ecosystem security best practices as part of deployment and operations activities
  • Developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts for automation, configuration, and operational support tasks

 

Certification Requirements

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104)
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD‑102)
  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals

Minimum Work Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical capability, preferably working for an IT Services or Systems Integration organisation

Education

Good degree level qualification in a Computer Science or related field
