The Opportunity 

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Marketing Specialist – Events to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in end-to-end event management across local, regional, and international markets. This role plays a key part in executing impactful events, including in-person, hybrid, and virtual formats, that support brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation goals.

Your key responsibilities

• Plan and manage the full event lifecycle, including venue sourcing, registration, permits, logistics, travel coordination, and on-site execution.
• Lead procurement coordination: raise PRs, follow up on POs, and ensure timely payments in collaboration with finance and procurement teams.
• Track and manage event budgets, vendor invoices, and cost reporting.
• Align and coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., product, sales, legal, finance, creative) to ensure all event deliverables are met on schedule.
• Liaise with external vendors, production houses, and agencies for stand builds, branding, printing, and promotional items.
• Maintain and update project plans, event timelines, run-of-show documents, and checklists for smooth delivery.
• Oversee the preparation of logistics kits including name badges, welcome packs, attendee lists, permits, and social media coverage.
• Monitor and manage shipping schedules and inventory of giveaways and branded materials.
• Lead on-site coordination during setup; ensure all elements are executed as planned.
• Provide administrative support such as scheduling, post-event reporting, and file organization.
• Coordinate and manage the production and distribution of branded merchandise, employee kits, and event collateral.
• Plan and execute strategic in-person, hybrid, and partner-led events to drive awareness and business growth.
• Support and deliver webinars, international activations, and innovation-driven events such as hackathons.

What we're looking for

• 3–5 years of experience in event marketing or event management, preferably in a tech, innovation, or B2B environment.
• Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end event logistics for large-scale and high-profile events (both hybrid and virtual).
• Experience in executing webinars, hackathons, and international exhibitions.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with Monday.com or similar tools is a plus.
• Basic understanding of procurement and finance workflows.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
