We are seeking a highly organized and proactive project management professional to join the AI Factory business unit. This role is critical in ensuring smooth coordination across product, engineering, and operations teams. The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional communication, align project timelines, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables. Vendor relationship management will also be a key responsibility.

The Senior Specialist - Project Management will be acting as the primary liaison between the product, engineering, and operations teams, this role drives seamless project execution by ensuring that all deliverables are on track, completed on time, and meet both quality and business requirements. It involves coordinating project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking using the appropriate tools and methodologies, while also managing vendor relationships, communication, and performance tracking. The role facilitates team meetings, resolves conflicts, and fosters collaboration across cross-functional teams. Additionally, it is responsible for identifying and mitigating project risks and blockers to maintain momentum, and for providing regular status updates and reports to stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle. 

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the full end to end project management lifecycle (Business Requirements, Design, Planning, Execution and Handover) in line with business expectations of quality, cost and schedule
• Developing comprehensive project plans that outline objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Leading and coordinating cross-functional teams to design and implement fit for purpose including commercial, procurement, vendors and technical  engineers, data scientists, and analysts, to ensure effective collaboration and task execution.Vendor management, Facilitating workshops,Reporting,Cadence Activities
• Managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that financial resources are used efficiently and within limits.
• Establishing and monitoring project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
• Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that projects stay on track.
• Ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with industry best practices.
• Maintaining open lines of communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates, and addressing any concerns or feedback.
• Utilizing project management tools to track progress, evaluate team performance, and adjust plans as necessary to meet project goals.
• Maintaining comprehensive project documentation and providing detailed reports on progress, challenges, and outcomes to management and stakeholders.
• Building and nurturing relationships with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.

Qualifications:

Required skills and qualifications.

• Demonstratable Project Management experience delivering complex and multi-faceted projects within the tech industry, preferably with a focus on AI and GPU projects.
• A bachelor's degree in project management, computer science, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster).
• Experience in managing client relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Proficiency in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and controlling costs.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project).
• Understanding of AI, machine learning, and GPU technologies, enabling effective communication with technical teams.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide cross-functional teams towards project goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear interaction with stakeholders, team members, and clients.
• Experience in managing budgets, resources, and timelines effectively to ensure project success.
• Understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, high-performance computing, and related architectures. Familiarity with the tools and platforms used in AI and HPC environments.
