The opportunity
The role of Senior Specialist of HR Data, Reporting, and Analytics will be an integral member of the HR Analytics team, supporting various HR groups by connecting and correlating data points from multiple systems to derive workforce insights, identify automation opportunities, and facilitate decision-making through the design of advanced HR digital decision support tools. This position demands strong data wrangling and problem-solving capabilities, along with experience in project management and agile methodologies to enable data-driven talent decisions. In this role, you will lead HR analytics initiatives, manage data projects, and enhance data literacy within the HR team.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a change champion and initiator and effectively utilize change methodologies to assist in designing and deploying HR reporting and analytics solutions.
- Asist in developing and implementing data-driven strategies to support HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, retention, and diversity and inclusion.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the HR team to solve key business questions and hypotheses, employing consulting techniques to prioritize analytical projects effectively according to impact.
- Partner and collaborate with IT teams to build and successfully implement HR data warehouse.
- Analyse HR data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies and proactively work with HR and functional teams to resolve issues.
- Design, implement, or adjust existing reporting or dashboards using People Analytics Stories
- Actively participate in professional organizations and stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in HR technology and future of work practices.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, process documentation, and training materials to ensure consistent and accurate data management practices.
Qualifications:
(a) Required skills / qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, human resources, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. A master’s degree or advanced certifications are often preferred
- 4 to 5 years of experience into HR analytics
- Strong analytical skills, with expertise in statistical analysis, data modelling, and data visualization tools.
- Experience with HRIS systems and analytics software (e.g., Azure, python,Tableau, PowerBI, SQL).
- Related work experience in defining and deploying workforce analytics and/or management decision support products.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
(b) Preferred skills / qualifications
- SuccessFactors People Analytics and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central experience
- Knowledge of current trends in AI, including emerging technologies.
- Ability to work with large data sets both structured and unstructured data.
- Strong skills in coordinating with cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationships.
- Excellent communication skills for working with HR, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to align HR digitalization with organizational goals.
