The opportunity

The Senior Manager Total Rewards will be responsible for leading and supporting the design, planning and execution of Total Rewards programs that aligned with the organization’s HR & Total Rewards strategy. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Total Rewards practices & processes, including salary structures/ pay range setting, benefits programs design, costing & administration, Project management of annual compensation cycles, design short term incentives, Pay equity, long term incentive management, market benchmarking and leading change management & transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of HR experience with atleast 5 years of total rewards experience preferably with understanding of UAE or US labor market dynamics, trends, and regulatory frameworks. Exposure to multiple geography is an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

Compensation Management:

  • Lead the annual compensation cycle project management end to end inclusive of deciding on salary ranges, budgeting & comp modelling, campaign data & technology readiness, change management & capability building, year on year technology & process improvements.
  • Lead analysis and review of different allowances in line with employees and key stakeholder feedback while ensuring affordability and market practice alignment.
  • Lead or support review and design of the different variable pay programs such as sales incentive, performance bonus scheme and long-term incentives.
  • Develop and drive Pay-Equity models in compliance with different legislative requirements and internal guidance on pay-transparency

 

 

Global Mobility

  • Manage the global mobility compensation for international hires, local to local moves, long term and short-term assignees. Custodian of relocations, transfer and global mobility policy.

 

Employee Communication & Capability building

  • Implement best practices such as Total Rewards Statements, rewards transparency journey by persona to enhance visibility and understanding of total rewards
  • Develops and drives capability building programs on rewards for HR, Line Managers and Employees.
  • Act as coach for junior colleagues to challenge and develop their understanding of total rewards

 

Data, technology & Transformation:

  • Ensure processes and technology in place to capture and analyse data. Drive interventions such as tech tools, power BI dashboard to ensure accuracy and accessibility of right data to right persona with support from digital & analytics team.
  • Drives governance on accessibility and visibility of total rewards data to different personas such as HRBPs, TA, Employee, Line Managers etc.
  • Total Rewards lead for manpower costing/ budgeting assumptions and budgeting inputs for Total Rewards & HR Function.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Total Rewards programs to identify trends & opportunity areas.
  • Lead total rewards technology and process transformation, preparation of business case, implementation and change management

 

Collaboration and Consultation:

  • Act as a trusted advisor & escalation point to Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and HR Services by providing clarification on Total Rewards policies and processes.
  • Partner with external compensation and benefits consultants to deliver market-specific insights and solutions.

 

Project Management:

  • Lead global projects, from conceptualization to business case approval to change management and implementation e.g. enhancement in SF platforms, Flexible Benefits, Total Rewards Statements etc.

Qualifications:

(a) Required experience / qualifications

  • Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications such as GRP (Global Remuneration Professional) are added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR with atleast 5 years in Compensation and Benefits or Total Rewards, preferably in a multinational organization with exposure to UAE/GCC and/or US.

(b) Required Skills / Competencies

  • Able to drive small to medium scale change management and transformation e.g. incremental changes to existing process across the organization or piloting a new initiative within a division.
  • Strong communication skills, able to simplify and communicate complex technical and total rewards topics to broader audience including business
  • Experience in designing and improving key compensation programs like incentives, insurance schemes, pay-equity etc.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, and market-specific benefits practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI; familiarity with survey providers & their frameworks such as Mercer or Willis Tower Watson.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced & dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
