Project Manager – Program-Level Communications

Responsibilities:

1. Program Communication Strategy

  • Develop and implement a cohesive communication plan aligned with program goals, objectives, and milestones.

  • Tailor messaging to diverse stakeholder groups including executives, delivery teams, partners, and end users.

2. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-level communications.

  • Prepare and manage executive updates, newsletters, dashboards, and briefings.

  • Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information across all program stakeholders.

3. Cross-Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with project managers to align and consolidate messaging across multiple projects.

  • Integrate project-level reports into coherent, high-impact program-level communication deliverables.

4. Governance and Reporting

  • Support program governance by preparing meeting materials, reports, presentations, and minutes.

  • Ensure compliance with defined PMO communication protocols and governance standards.

5. Risk and Issue Communication

  • Identify and escalate program-level risks and issues effectively.

  • Communicate mitigation strategies to appropriate stakeholders promptly and transparently.

6. Change Communication

  • Partner with change management and training teams to ensure clear communication of program-driven changes.

  • Support organizational adoption through clear, empathetic, and targeted messaging.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project or program management with a strong communications focus.

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience managing communications in large-scale, multi-stakeholder programs.

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational, planning, and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Proficiency with collaboration and productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, PowerPoint).

 

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

  • Arabic language proficiency.

  • Experience in matrixed or cross-functional organizations.

  • Background in Organizational Change Management (OCM).

  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

  • Proven experience engaging with executive leadership and governance committees.
