Leveraging advanced resources and partnerships, Core42 empowers clients to harness sovereign AI infrastructure, especially in sectors with stringent regulatory needs. With a mission to redefine digital transformation, we combine sovereign capabilities with scalable, high-performance compute infrastructure, positioning itself at the forefront of AI innovation in the Middle East and beyond.

The opportunity

An experienced PMO / Programme Leader, with previous exposure to GPU / Cloud deployments, data centre construction, or other digital and technology capital delivery projects and portfolios. The role will require the individual to own the company‑wide PMO, for deployments within the PMO charter, ensuring they are governed, prioritised and delivered in line with Core42’s AI and sovereign‑cloud strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and maintain the PMO framework (e.g., governance, lifecycle, templates, KPIs, RAID, change control) across all clusters.
  • Run portfolio‑level planning and prioritization with SteerCo, aligning projects to Core42’s strategy and capacity.
  • Own consolidated reporting: SteerCo, portfolio dashboards, benefits tracking, financials, and risk exposure across all clusters and regions (Currently: US, UAE, France).
  • Chair PMO forums (Regional PM community, PM forums), drive standards and continuous improvement in delivery practices.
  • Coordinate resource demand vs. capacity across clusters (PMs, schedulers, document controllers, project controllers, etc.).
  • Ensure effective regular project reviews (initiation, business case, readiness for deployment, go‑live, closure) and escalate issues to SteerCo.
  • Manage interfaces with support functions (Finance, Legal, Procurement, Security & Compliance)
  • Coordination with the project development lead and regional leads to understand what leads are currently being assessed and whether available capacity across existing clusters can be utilised.
  • Drive ‘close the gap’ activities to deliver Revenue / Profit against the budget in 2026.
