The opportunity
An experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Director to lead the end-to-end Supply Chain function across the Core42 deployment business. The individual will have previous exposure to managing supply chains across the GPU / Cloud deployments, data centre construction, or other digital and technology capital delivery projects. The individual will own the relationships, sourcing, delivery timelines and costs associated with Data Centers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and third party suppliers across Core42’s portfolio of deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall supply chain management and procurement across OEM's and third parties.
- Responsible for supply chain management and procurement with Datacentres during retrofits.
- Responsible for assigning resource to each region/deployment to take ownership and responsibility for the supply chain workstream within the deployment(s).
- Responsible for managing the procurement workflow including issuance of procurement documentation, evaluation of responses and driving cost optimization.
- Responsible for the strategic supply chain mapping and planning. Ensuring long lead items are mapped, scenario planning is undertaken and quantified.
- Own supply planning for GPUs and critical items, incl. mapping forecast deployment from sales function as inputs to deployment plans.
- Manage procurement to delivery flow, including supplier commitments/contracting, logistics, import/export, milestones/readiness gates;
- Maintain trackers to manage and track metrics for continuous improvement
- Manage supplier performance, long-lead procurement management, and inventory buffers aligned to deployment schedules; escalate shortages via defined governance.
- Liaise with Engineering & Operations for item selection, vendor strategies, and change control;
- Standardise supply reporting into PMO dashboards for decision-making.
- Ensure PMO governance and procedures are understood and fully utilised
Qualifications:
- Relevant Experience: direct experience in supply chain management with hands-on involvement in management of , with circa 15 years plus experience; with at least 2 years of data centre and/or GPU experience seen as highly preferable.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with delivering portfolios of major deployments, including preferable experience in delivering solutions across multiple technology domains, including SaaS platforms, e-commerce ecosystems, ERP systems, CRM systems, Digital assets and content management platforms, customer experience tools, marketing automation, data and analytics platforms, API integrations, Middleware, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and enterprise systems.
- Technical Competencies: Demonstrable experience in generation of long-term supply chain strategies, optimisation of logistics planning, demand and inventory planning, and strong financial acumen.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data, assess the impact of changes, and generate actionable insights.

(a) Required skills / qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in managing supply chains;
- Degree or equivalent experience (preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration);
- Previous experience operating at a senior management / leadership level, of at least 5 years;
- Strong governance and portfolio management expertise;
- Exceptional stakeholder management capability.
- Oral and written proficiency in English
