Senior Android Developer

Role : Analog is seeking a highly motivated Android Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile development, a strong understanding of Android platforms, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications for a variety of devices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers to define and deliver new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and other app-related problems. • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Collaborate in the architecture and implementation of new app features and services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to a collaborative environment to improve coding standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of mobile apps in the Google Play Store.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java programming languages.
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and the Android platform.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and Android’s design guidelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug Android applications.
- Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration.
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Espresso, JUnit).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Jetpack libraries (e.g., Navigation, LiveData, Room, Paging, WorkManager).
- Familiarity with cloud messaging services, push notifications, and Firebase.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Experience with multi-threading and background tasks.
- Exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus
