About the role:
AIQ is looking for a Senior Specialist - Procurement to support with the company’s procurement activities, ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services required to meet business needs. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that procurement processes are cost-effective and align with the company’s strategic goals.
This role is open exclusively to UAE Nationals.
Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee procurement activities, ensuring cost effectiveness, centralized strategies, compliance with guidelines, and alignment with AIQ objectives.

Formulate and recommend procurement and contracting strategies, including complex negotiations and licensing agreements.

Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle for strategic or high-value requirements, providing oversight on requests, tenders, bidding, evaluations, and contract awards.

Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers, ensuring sourcing at optimal rates, driving cost reduction initiatives, and building long-term supplier relationships.

Oversee contract lifecycle management, including drafting, commercial terms review, compliance monitoring, and enhancement of contractual conditions.

Monitor procurement processes, identify risks, propose mitigation measures, and ensure practices uphold ethical standards and procurement integrity.

Independently lead high-impact procurement projects, ensuring timely fulfilment and resolving escalated issues in logistics, material movement, and customs clearance.

Conduct supplier performance evaluations, benchmarking, and scorecard reviews in collaboration with stakeholders, driving continuous improvement.

Provide accurate, timely reporting and insights to management, while maintaining full audit trails and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Champion process automation, cross-functional collaboration, and compliance with QHSE, Risk, Information Security, and Governance frameworks.
Qualifications:
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.

Minimum 8 years’ experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related field, with focus on sourcing, supplier relations, and contract management.

Relevant certification in Procurement (e.g., CPP, CIPS) preferred.

Certification in Commercial Contracts Management.

Proficiency in ERP systems.
